Nottingham Forest are reportedly in discussions with Barcelona over the loan signing of midfielder Marcus McGuane.
Two years ago, the Englishman left Arsenal in order to sign for the Catalan giants, where he has made eight appearances for the 'B' team.
Barcelona have allowed the 20-year-old to link up with Telstar this season, where he has made 14 starts in the second tier of Dutch football.
However, according to the Daily Mail, McGuane is in line to sign for Championship team Forest on a temporary basis before the end of the January window.
Barcelona are seemingly keen for the prospect to test himself at a higher level before deciding whether to extend his contract, which expires in the summer.
