Bayern Munich look to be heading into their Champions League last-16 second leg against Lazio on Wednesday in much better shape than they did the first leg at Stadio Olimpico three weeks ago, when Hansi Flick's side ran out 4-1 winners despite only being able to name six substitutes due to illness and injury.
Indeed, Thomas Muller, Serge Gnabry and Benjamin Pavard were three of the notable absentees in the first leg, but all three started in Saturday's 3-1 win against Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga and should do so again on Wednesday in order to help the Bavarians progress to the quarter-final of the Champions League for the ninth time in 10 seasons.
Corentin Tolisso (tendon), Kingsley Coman (ankle) and Ron-Thorben Hoffmann (knee) remain long-term absentees, though, while youngsters Tanguy Nianzou and Malik Tillman have also been ruled out.
David Alaba missed the weekend's trip to Bremen with a muscle injury, and may not be risked against Lazio given the margin of Bayern's lead in the tie.
Having pushed for more game time, meanwhile, Alexander Nubel is likely to receive a rare start in goal with Manuel Neuer rested.
Leroy Sane and Jamal Musiala both scored in the first leg but were only used from the substitutes' bench in Bremen, so Flick may be tempted to recall the pair to the starting XI. However, Muller's experience is likely to see him selected ahead of Musiala, with Sane the more probable option to come into the side to provide fresh legs down the right flank.
Niklas Sule will also be pushing for a start having impressed at right-back in the first leg, but Flick may side with the left-footed Lucas Hernandez alongside Jerome Boateng at the heart of the defence in order to provide more balance to the side should Alaba miss out.
Robert Lewandowski, who joined Klaus Fischer on 268 career Bundesliga goals on Saturday to move second behind only Gerd Muller in German goalscoring history, will be hoping to add to his tally of four Champions League goals this season.
