Mario Mandzukic has insisted that he was always confident of being a success at Bayern Munich.
When the Croatian international joined Bayern during the summer from Wolfsburg, the move was met with scepticism from certain quarters.
However, the 26-year-old has gone on to score 14 goals in the Bundesliga so far this season.
"I have always believed in myself and was convinced from the start that I could go on a run like this," he told the club's official website.
The striker has added a further two goals to his tally in other competitions.
