Blackburn Rovers have announced that caretaker manager Gary Bowyer will remain in charge at Ewood Park until the end of January.
Bowyer was handed the temporary role by the Championship club when Henning Berg was sacked after just 57 days in charge.
However, after Bowyer led Rovers to two consecutive victories since Berg's departure, he has been told that he will remain in control of the side until the end of January.
Earlier today, it was reported that former England manager Sven-Goran Eriksson had registered an interest in becoming Blackburn's new manager.
