Blackburn Rovers manager Steve Kean has revealed that midfielder Morten Gamst Pederson has been "really affected" by the club's global adviser Shebby Singh's derogatory comments.
The businessman hit out at the Norway international last weekend, claiming that he had "lost his legs" and could be pushed out of the club.
"It's massively disruptive in a very important, if not the most important week," said Kean. "Morten has been a fantastic servant. He's probably one of the true gentlemen and it's really affected him."
Singh also threatened that Kean could be sacked if he lost three games in a row but later apologised for his comments.
