Blackburn Rovers triumphed over Charlton Athletic with a 3-0 victory at Ewood Park in the Championship this afternoon.
Jordan Rhodes broke the offside trap early on but Nick Pope did extremely well to pull off a one-handed save to deny the striker.
Pope was kept busy by Ben Marshall and athletic efforts by Bengali-Fode Koita, before Watt had a chance on goal well blocked by Adam Henley.
Rhodes finally gave his side the lead on the stroke of half-time, the striker meeting an inviting cross and heading into the net.
Charlton came close to equalising through Zakarya Bergdich, as Rhodes and Craig Conway continued to threaten Pope in the net. Rhodes then got his second after substitute Tom Lawrence sent in a low cross which the striker converted in at the near post.
Blackburn then grabbed their third and sealed the game, Lawrence scrambling into the box before rifling his shot into the roof of the net.
The win sees Rovers climb out of the relegation zone into 19th place in the league, while Charlton sit in 15th.
