Boca Juniors are currently in the midst of a five-match run without a victory, which is something they will be pushing to end on Sunday when they welcome Talleres.
The visitors are at the complete opposite end of the table as they sit bottom of the Argentine Primera division, with the pressure being on to try to pick up some points.
Match preview
Boca Juniors have had a strong season overall, which is why they currently sit second in the league, but their recent form has been poor.
They have gone five games in a row without a victory in all competitions, and in the Argentine Primera division, it has allowed Racing Club to create a four-point gap between them.
After being knocked out of the Libertadores on penalties, Boca Juniors were looking for an immediate response at the weekend against San Lorenzo, but they were not able to find it.
Marcos Rojo did give them the perfect start in the 28th minute, but goals from Agustin Giay and Adam Bareiro proved to be too much as they were beaten 2-1.
Despite that, Boca Juniors have been a dominant team over the entire course of the campaign, particularly offensively where they have scored 36 times this season.
That is the complete opposite for the visitors, as Talleres are the lowest scoring team in the division, having only found the back of the net on just 13 occasions.
This has been one of the major issues for them throughout the campaign, which is why they find themselves bottom of the league table heading into this one.
Pedro Caixinha's men have lost 13 of their matches in the Argentina Primera division to this point, having won only four throughout the campaign.
The latest of their defeats took place at the weekend against Barracas Central with goals from Facundo Mater and Bruno Sepulveda proving to be enough to separate them.
While Talleres have failed to win in their previous six matches in the league, but they were able to progress in the Libertadores recently, which could provide some confidence for them.

Team News
Nicolas Figal remains out of action for Boca Juniors right now because of a knee problem, while they have also been missing Norberto Briasco as of late with an ankle issue, but he is expected to return soon.
Sebastian Villa and Dario Benedetto should be the two men that lead the line for the hosts as the two men have showcased their qualities throughout the campaign so far.
The visitors have typically been using a lone striker this season, with Federico Girotti being the man that has taken that responsibility at times, which will likely be the case this weekend.
Rafael Perez was brought into the team from the bench at the weekend to try and steady the defensive setup for Talleres, and he could be an option this time around.
Boca Juniors possible starting lineup:
Rossi; Fabra, Rojo, Zambrano, Advincula; Varela, Ramirez, Romero, Fernandez; Villa, Benedetto
Talleres possible starting lineup:
Aguerre; Perez, Malatini, Catalan, Martino; Oliva, Ortegoza; Pizzini, Alvarez, Fertoli; Girotti
We say: Boca Juniors 3-0 Talleres
For the visitors, they will likely be seeing this as the perfect time to play Boca Juniors away from home due to the poor form that they have been in as of late.
Despite that, when playing in front of their own fans Boca Juniors should have enough quality to get their season back on track in this one.
