Bristol City boss Steve Cotterill has claimed that his team's performance in the 3-0 defeat to Sheffield United was "abysmal".
John Brayford opened the scoring when he slotted in from Harry Maguire's assist. Ryan Flynn and Jose Baxter added further goals in the second half.
"We were abysmal today. It was the first time that, for 90 minutes, we just didn't look like we had anything in us," Cotterill told the club's official website.
"We rested and then trained hard this week but we didn't do one thing that we put into practice. We were lethargic in everything we were doing."
City are 21st in League One.
