Daniel Powell struck in the 94th minute to rescue a dramatic draw for MK Dons in their bottom-of-the-table Championship clash with Bristol City this afternoon.
The Robins were ahead inside the opening six minutes when Jonathan Kodjia was on hand to fire home from Bobby Reid's pass.
Reid then dragged a long-range strike narrowly wide and Ben Reeves tried his luck from 25 yards for the visitors.
MK Dons goalkeeper David Martin had to be alert to keep out Luke Freeman's deflected effort as Steve Cotterill's side pushed for a second.
They should have been two ahead just before the break when Kodjia teed up Freeman, but with the goal at his mercy the midfielder fired wastefully over.
Josh Murphy found some space on the edge of the Bristol City box shortly after the restart, but his rasping shot was off target.
The fragility of the home side's lead was then shown when Dean Lewington's cross missed everyone and struck an upright, before being scrambled clear.
If the home side were fortunate to survive that moment, they had goalkeeper Frank Fielding to thank for preserving the lead when he pushed substitute Robert Hall's effort around the post late on.
However, there was nothing Fielding could do to keep out Powell's late effort as the MK Dons substitute dribbled into the box and curled an effort into the far corner.
