Burnley midfielder Steven Defour has revealed that "all went fine" with the operation on his injured knee.
Last month, it emerged that Defour had a problem with the cartilage in one of his knees, with manager Sean Dyche revealing that the Belgian could miss the rest of the season.
Defour had previously been an ever-present in Burnley's Premier League matches this season, and the 29-year-old has acknowledged that he is already looking at when he can return to action.
Defour faces a race to be fit for this summer's World Cup, with 52 caps having been earned for his country.
The player has made 49 appearances for the Clarets in all competitions since moving to Turf Moor in August 2016.
