Burnley manager Sean Dyche has claimed that their derby victory over Blackburn Rovers will not distract his players when they face Birmingham City on Wednesday evening.
The Clarets secured their first win over their Lancashire rivals in 35 years on Sunday as they recorded a 2-1 success at Ewood Park.
Dyche has insisted that the team will not get carried away following the result.
"There's a real professional feel about the group, we've built that over the time we've been here," he told the Lancashire Telegraph.
"They know the responsibilities themselves as individuals, I'm sure of that. But I wanted them to enjoy the occasion on Sunday because it was an historic moment and that's of value to everyone concerned with Burnley Football Club, especially the players.
"It was three points on the board – an important three points for many different reasons, the main one being the derby. But we go again on Wednesday."
Burnley currently sit second in the Championship, five points adrift of leaders Leicester City.
