Premier League side Cardiff City have confirmed that full-back Kevin McNaughton has signed a one-year contract extension until the end of next season.
Reports on Tuesday claimed that a deal between the two parties was close and now Cardiff have made the deal official, with the player delighted to extend his stay.
"I think I'm part of the furniture now, I've been here a while! It's great really to look forward to another season at the club," he told Cardiff City Player.
"When I first came we were playing at Ninian Park and everything has changed since then with excellent training facilities and the stadium. Obviously now we're a Premier League football team, looking to stay there."
McNaughton has played for Cardiff since joining from Aberdeen in 2006.
