Celta Vigo boss Eduardo Berizzo has insisted that he did not take Lionel Messi's penalty pass on Sunday night as an act of 'disrespect'.
Barcelona were 3-1 ahead at Camp Nou when they were awarded a penalty, which Messi passed to Luis Suarez and the striker fired home to complete his hat-trick in what finished a 6-1 home win.
It has been claimed that it was disrespectful for Barcelona to score in that way, but Berizzo has claimed that he did not have a problem with what occurred.
"It was taken in different way, that's it. It's not disrespectful. Their forwards are always very respectful to the opponent. They're voracious. They can each score the goals they can or want to," Berizzo told reporters.
"The penalty is within the law. I'm more hurt by the goals than how they're scored. The talent the Barca players have imposed itself on our organisation in the second half."
Neymar revealed after the match that Messi's pass was meant for him and not Suarez.
