Chelsea will be looking to make a winning start to their 2021-22 Champions League group-stage campaign when they welcome Zenit St Petersburg to Stamford Bridge on Tuesday.

Thomas Tuchel's side, who are the reigning European champions, will enter the contest off the back of an impressive 3-0 victory over Aston Villa in the Premier League.

The Blues have been drawn into Group H in the Champions League alongside Zenit, Malmo and Juventus.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Chelsea's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest with Zenit, who are unbeaten in all competitions this season.

Christian Pulisic

Status: Out
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: Unknown

Chelsea will again be without the services of Christian Pulisic on Tuesday evening due to an ankle problem that the attacker picked up while representing the United States during the international break.

N'Golo Kante

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: September 14 (vs. Zenit St Petersburg)

N'Golo Kante missed France's international fixtures due to an ankle problem, and the midfielder was absent against Villa on Saturday but has a chance of featuring against Zenit in the Champions League.

CHELSEA'S SUSPENSION LIST

Chelsea have no players suspended for this Champions League clash.
