Sports Mole rounds up all of Real Madrid's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their Champions League semi-final first leg with Chelsea.

Having already dumped Liverpool out of the competition, Real Madrid will endeavour to get one over another English side in the Champions League as they prepare for the first leg of their semi-final clash with Chelsea on Tuesday.

Los Blancos could not find a way through at Anfield as they drew 0-0 in the second leg, but a 3-1 first-leg win over Liverpool saw them progress to the final four and keep their hopes of a 14th European crown alive.

However, Zinedine Zidane's men head into this game following a disappointing result in La Liga, as they played out a 0-0 draw with Real Betis and missed the chance to go top.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Real Madrid's injury and suspension news ahead of the first leg.

Sergio Ramos

Status: Out
Type of injury: Calf
Possible return date: Unknown

Captain Sergio Ramos may reportedly be ready to return from a calf issue in time to take part in the second leg on May 5, but the centre-back is sure to miss the first leg and is expected to head for the exit door this summer.

Lucas Vazquez

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Another player linked with a move away from the club, Lucas Vazquez suffered a serious knee injury during El Clasico earlier this month and will not be ready for Tuesday's first leg.

Federico Valverde

Status: Out
Type of injury: Coronavirus
Possible return date: Unknown

Federico Valverde initially had to self-isolate after coming into close contact with a COVID-positive individual, and the midfielder is now confirmed to have contracted the virus, so he will play no part in the first leg.

Ferland Mendy

Status: Out
Type of injury: Calf
Possible return date: Unknown

Real Madrid announced last week that left-back Ferland Mendy had picked up a calf problem, and he was not ready to face Betis. The Frenchman is reportedly yet to return to full training, and Zidane has confirmed that he will not be available for the first leg.

Toni Kroos

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Muscle
Possible return date: April 27 (vs. Chelsea)

Toni Kroos has now missed Real Madrid's last three games due to muscular discomfort, but his absence against Betis was merely thought to be precautionary and he should return on Tuesday.

REAL MADRID'S SUSPENSION LIST

Real Madrid have no players suspended for the first leg.
