Dallas have moved to within two points of Seattle Sounders at the summit of the MLS Western Conference by beating Colorado Rapids 3-1 in Texas this morning.
The hosts started better of the sides and took the lead as early as the ninth minute, courtesy of a Matt Hedges strike.
It got better for the Texans just two minutes later as rookie Tesho Akindele earned a penalty, which Michel slotted to double their advantage.
Fabian Castillo put the result beyond doubt on 55 minutes, before Gabriel Torres bagged Colorado a consolation with an 88th-minute spot kick.
