Live text commentary from the Europa League as Eintracht Frankfurt beat Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Eintracht Frankfurt hosted Maccabi Tel Aviv in Group F of the Europa League and made it three wins from three with a 2-0 win.

The hosts started well and got themselves in front through Vaclav Kadlec who tapped a rebound into the roof of the net.

Their task was made easier when Tal Ben Haim was sent off, and they completed the result through Alexander Meier's header.

Read how the action unfolded below.

Hello all and thanks for joining me for the second Bundesliga side in action in Europe tonight. It's Frankfurt against Maccabi Tel Aviv.
Not much time for anything other than the teams... so one second while I bring those across.
FRANKFURT XI: Trapp; Jung, Zambrano, Bamba, Oczipka; Rode, Russ; Flum, Meier, Barnetta; Kadlec
MACCABI XI: Juan Pablo; Yeini, Tibi, Carlos Garcia, Harush; Alberman; Mitrovic, Radi; Zahavi, Ben Haim; Prica
KICKOFF: The visiting Israeli side, in yellow, get us underway in front of a rapturous home crowd. Really good noise from the Frankfurt faithful.
Plenty of the ball here early on for the hosts, but they are being well hassles by Tel Aviv. So far there has not been a chance as the two sides feel each other out.
CHANCE! There has now! It's Meier who crosses from the left and Kadlec gets good power on his low header but it's well turned behind by Juan Pablo.
Ben-Haim does really well on the left to strike towards goal but it's a comfortable height for Trapp to put behind.
CLOSE! Another chance for Frankfurt but it's only a half one. Barnetta strikes the ball as it came across him from an angle in the box and fizzes it just over. Good start to this game here.
GOAL! Frankfurt 1-0 Maccabi (Vaclav Kadlec)
Really good run down the right from Flum. His cross is met by Meier, with the keeper making a brilliant save on to the post. But there's Kadlec to tap into the roof of the net for the lead.
Maccabi have looked better since the goal. They are making space well and keeping the ball, but haven't been in the Frankfurt third nearly enough at the moment.
Not much to report in the last few minutes. Frankfurt are keeping a very good shape which, despite their efforts, Maccabi cannot yet get through. Frustration there from Zahavi who fouls Russ as Frankfurt looked to break.
Zambrano's pass intended for Barnetta almost got all the way through to Kadlec who was running in behind. It's partially cleared and Flum has a chance to cross, but it goes out of play for a goal kick.
Deep cross there from wide on the left, but it's a brilliant claim from Trapp who had his post and crossbar to deal with. Frankfurt come forward but Kadlec's ball across the box goes to no-one in the end.
Free kick here wide right for Frankfurt. They play short to Rode, who then finds Flum. Oczipka is then closed down really well and the hosts are forced back. In the end Barnetta's cross from deep is easily claimed by Pablo.
RED CARD! It's a red card for the vistitors as Ben-Haim is given his marching orders! He complains, but he has to walk off the pitch. He put his arm up for a handball and was shown a second yellow and a red. Silly thing to do on a booking.
That will make things so much harder for MAccabi, who were already struggling to impose themselves on the game. They have seen a lot of the ball since the sending off, but their final ball is all too easy to cut out and has been for 37 minutes.
Oczipka skips past a tackle on the left, but his cross is partially cleared. It comes to Rode on the edge of the box and his goal-bound effort is deflected wide for a corner. That might have been troubling the keeper.
It's surely only a matter of time for the next goal. Frankfurt are getting a lot of joy down the flanks and Barnetta has curled one high and wide from the edge of the box when well placed. It's all the hosts and can Maccabi survive to the break?
I think they'll have to survive with just the one goal at the break, Frankfurt. The frantic pace of trying to get the second has died down and they are now keeping the ball patiently.
One minute of time to be added on here...
HALF-TIME: Stuttgart 1-0 Maccabi Tel Aviv
So the half comes to an end and it's a deserved lead for Frankfurt. Ben-Haim was sent off for two yellows - the first of which was possibly harsh, but even before that the German side were the better team.
I expect nothing other than Frankfurt to come out and keep attacking and eventuall - or sooner than that - get the goal that would surely wrap up the points. At the moment they have nine from nine and that would make them hot favourites to take the group.
We might well see some changes for the away side to reshuffle from the sending off. Armin Veh will be pleased enough with his attacking players, who have moved well so far and at times have been too good. All the while it's 1-0, however, it's not over.
KICKOFF: we're back underway, with Stefan Aigner coming on at the break for Russ.
Good start to the half from the hosts, who are passing it patiently and not forcing the issue yet. A corner is played short and then hit deep, but it's easy for Pablo to gather in the away goal.
Oczipka gets a cross in on the overlap, but it's a huge head clear from Garcia. They work it left again and this time Oczipka cross is deflected behind. Nothing but pressure from the hosts.
GOAL! Frankfurt 2-0 Maccabi (Alexander Meier)
It's Barnetta with the corner and Meier with the near-post header. The early pressure in the second half has paid off and that is surely that now.
BOOKING: Aigner goes into the book as Margolis comes on for Alberman for the visitors.
Aigner is clattered on the right flank, but it's just a free kick, from which they cannot work a chance. They really have their tails up, however, and there could be more.
There's not even a player in yellow in the Frankfurt half now. It's all easy for the German side who are cruising through this group. They up the pace and attack through Aigner down the right, but his cross is too close to the keeper.
CHANCE! Meier could well have score there, but he was quickly closed down and his shot from a slight angle was dragged just wide of the far post.
SAVE! What a brilliant save Pablo! Kadlec has the ball cut back to him and must think he's scored with his low effort, but Pablo keeps it out when the ball was behind him. Brilliant stop.
FRANKFURT SUB: Takashi Inui replaces Tranquillo Barnetta for the hosts.
Maccabi almost get a chance but Mitrovic slips trying to turn. The possession is quickly back to the hosts, who look to come again down the left.
MACCABI SUB: Omri Altman comes on for Eran Zahavi for Tel Aviv. Can he do anything? He's immediately running hard, which hasn't been done by his side so far this half.
FRANKFURT SUB: The excellent Meier comes off for Lakic who comes on for a run out.
CHANCE! Lakic almost gets on to the end of Jung's fizzed near-post cross. Well, he does get there but his contact diverts it over the bar instead of into the net.
SAVE: Save after save from Pablo. This time it's Lakic who fires low from 25 yards and the keeper does well to get down and push it wide of the post.
Late run at goal from Maccabi, with most of their players involved in a passing move, but in the end Zahavi's pass is long and out of play.
There will be three minutes of time added on at the end of the game. I don't see any more goals arriving.
CLOSE! Although there almost was. Aigner clips over the top to Inui rushing down the left, but he puts his effort high and wide of goal. That was a genuine chance.
FULL-TIME: Frankfurt 2-0 Maccabi Tel Aviv
So Frankfurt do more than enough tonight against Maccabi, and they have maximum points from their first three games. They have one foot in the next round already.
Thanks for joining me tonight and please do stick around for all the reports and reaction from tonight's games. Goodbye!
