Phil Jagielka has admitted that he is relieved to know that England's chances of qualifying for the World Cup will be down to their own form.
England drew 0-0 with Ukraine on Tuesday evening to stay top of Group H with two matches remaining, and Jagielka claimed that the point could be crucial.
"Only time will tell if it is a good result. We would have loved to have got a win and made a big statement to the group," Jagielka told reporters. "It is still in our hands and we have two games to go.
"We knew it would be tough and we knew we would be under pressure."
England manager Roy Hodgson claimed that the draw was a good result shortly after the final whistle.
