France left-back Theo Hernandez has been passed fit to start in Sunday's World Cup 2022 last-16 battle with Poland.
The AC Milan defender, whose brother Lucas Hernandez withdrew from the tournament after tearing his ACL, had briefly emerged as a slight doubt for the contest after suffering a knock to the ankle in training on Friday.
However, Hernandez quickly returned to training on Saturday and has been given the green light to start at the Al Thumama Stadium as Didier Deschamps reverts to his strongest side for the knockout rounds.
Hugo Lloris returns in goal to win his 142nd cap for the national team, which puts him level with Lilian Thuram at the top of the all-time men's appearance charts for Les Bleus.
The Tottenham Hotspur number one will be protected by Raphael Varane and Dayot Upamecano, while Jules Kounde makes an expected return at right-back over Axel Disasi.
Aurelien Tchouameni and Adrien Rabiot have resumed their midfield partnership, while Antoine Griezmann will play just ahead of the duo in the number 10 position.
Ousmane Dembele and Kylian Mbappe will unsurprisingly link up with Olivier Giroud, who will become the highest scorer in the history of the French men's team if he makes the net ripple against Poland.
