Borussia Monchengladbach have been held to a goalless draw by Hoffenheim away from home in the Bundesliga.
The hosts looked the brighter of the two sides in the opening exchanges, as Roberto Firmino and Takashi Usami both had chances to score in the first 20 minutes.
Firmino had another good chance on 23 minutes when he headed Sejad Salihovic's corner just wide, before Thorben Marx shot wide from distance for Monchengladbach.
Tobias Weis could have put Hoffenheim ahead in the 43rd minute had his free kick from a narrow angle been on target.
The visitors sparked into life in the second half, as Luuk de Jong had two chances in quick succession before the hour mark.
Tolga Cigerci tried his luck for Monchengladbach from outside the box on 62 minutes, before Juan Arango, De Jong and Roel Brouwers took attempts but in vain.
