Hull City has confirmed that Eldin Jakupovic did not suffer a serious injury during their 3-1 loss to Sheffield Wednesday yesterday evening.
The keeper was stretchered off wearing a neck brace following a blow to the head towards the end of the match.
Hull's head of medical services Rob Price told the club's website: "Eldin received treatment for a facial injury on the pitch, and was taken to the stadium's medical room on a spinal board as a precaution.
"At no time did Eldin suffer any loss of consciousness, and he was completely responsive throughout.
"He was then taken to Hull Royal Infirmary for further examination, where all results thankfully came out as normal."
Despite the loss, Hull remain second in the Championship table.
