Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri has heaped praise on Paul Pogba after his inspirational performance for the club against Chievo this afternoon.
Pogba scored the first goal and played a huge part in the second for Stephan Lichtsteiner as the Bianconeri claimed a 2-0 Serie A victory in Turin.
The Frenchman has been strongly linked with a big-money exit from the club in recent months, but his manager chose to instead focus on his match-winning display.
"I think Pogba scored an extraordinary goal and the second goal was an equally extraordinary assist," Allegri told Sky Sport Italia.
"To win games you need great players, otherwise there wouldn't be players that clubs pay €100m for. As with every profession, there are levels.
"Paul is a very calm, collected and smart boy. He wants to improve and he proves that in every training session."
Today's victory for Juventus extended their lead at the top of the Serie A table to eight points.
