Serie A leaders Juventus returned to winning ways this evening by overcoming Inter Milan 2-0 in Serie A.
The Old Lady had drawn their previous two matches, including a come-from-behind 2-2 draw with Bayern Munich in the Champions League last 16, after 13 straight wins in all competitions.
Juve started quickly and went close three times in the opening 10 minutes, with Hernanes, Paulo Dybala and Mario Mandzukic all threatening early on.
Inter then settled and frustrated the hosts to get to half time goalless, but then the visitors committed a mistake at the back and they were duly punished.
No-one tracked the run of Leonardo Bonucci and the centre-back slammed home a volley from a narrow angle as the Inter defence stood and watched.
Inter failed to create many opportunities throughout the contest and the game was put out of their reach in the 84th minute when Alvaro Morata slotted home from the penalty spot after Miranda's infringement in the area.
Juve go four points clear for the time being, although Napoli can close the gap back to one if they win away at fourth-placed Fiorentina tomorrow night, while Inter stay fifth and now drop 13 points behind the leaders.
