Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri is hopeful that Carlos Tevez will sign a new deal with the Italian champions.
Last week, the Argentine revealed that he has no plans to extend his Juve contract beyond its 2016 expiration.
However, Allegri is still hopeful that the 30-year-old will pen a new contract in Turin.
"There's still one year and a half to come [before his contract expires], maybe he can change his mind," Allegri told reporters.
"We're all professional, everybody may plan his career and his life the way he prefers, I have no doubt that Carlos will be professional until the end."
Tevez has scored 37 times in 71 games for Juve since joining the Serie A side from Manchester City in 2013.
