Sports Mole previews Saturday's Turkish Super Lig clash between Konyaspor and Kasimpasa, including predictions, team news and possible lineups.
Sports Mole

Konyaspor will look to end a three-game winless run when they face Kasimpasa in the Turkish Super Lig on Saturday.

The hosts are currently two points adrift of the top three, while the visitors are four points above the relegation zone after failing to win any of their previous three league games.

Match preview

After beginning the season with a six-game unbeaten run, Konyaspor have won only one of their previous five league games.

They are also winless in their last three matches after they drew 1-1 against Adana Demirspor in their most recent encounter.

Mame Biram Diouf gave Konyaspor the lead against Adana Demirspor, but David Akintola equalised before half time and with neither side able to find a winner, both teams had to be content with a point apiece.

As a result of the point, Koyaspor head into Saturday's contest in sixth place with four points separating them from league leaders Fenerbahce.

Having won three of their last four home games, they will be confident of claiming a win that would lift them into the top three of the Turkish Super Lig table.

Meanwhile, Kasimpasa are six points adrift of their opponents, leaving them in 11th place and four points above the relegation zone.

While they are winless in their last three league games, they will be looking to avoid a third consecutive defeat in the Turkish Super Lig on Saturday.

In their most recent outing, Kasimpasa fell to a narrow 1-0 defeat against Kayserispor, with Mame Thiam's first-half goal proving to be the winner.

With both of their recent home defeats in the Turkish Super Lig taking place on home turf, Kasimpasa may be looking forward to Saturday's contest after winning two and drawing one of their previous three away league matches

Having conceded only one goal in their three-game unbeaten away run, Kasimpasa will be looking for another strong defensive performance on Saturday.

Team News

The hosts are without the services of Cebrail Karayel, who has missed the last four matches due to an injury issue.

Francisco Calvo returned from suspension to start against Adana Demirspor, and the defender is expected to retain his place alongside Adil Demirbag in central defence, with Ilhan Palut set to name an unchanged lineup.

Diouf opened his account for the season last weekend, and the forward will look to score in a second straight game when he leads the line on Saturday.

As for the visitors, they will be unable to call upon Tarkan Serbest, while there are also doubts over the availability of Bengali-Fode Keita.

Despite losing 1-0 to Kayserispor last weekend, Senol Can could opt to name an unchanged starting XI for Saturday's encounter.

Stephane Bahoken is Kasimpasa's top scorer, and he will attempt to add to the three goals that he has scored this season.

Konyaspor possible starting lineup:
Sehic; Oguz, Demirbag, Calvo, Guilherme; Dikmen, Haziahmetovic; Michalak, Cekici, Bytyqi; Diouf

Kasimpasa possible starting lineup:
Taskiran; Hadergjonaj, Bruma, Ciftpinar, Ben Ouanes; Fall, Hajradinovic, Tirpan, Eysseric, Celina; Bahoken

We say: Konyaspor 1-1 Kasimpasa

Kasimpasa managed to hold reigning Turkish Super Lig champions Trabzonspor to a point in their most recent away match, and we think that they will replicate that result against a Konyaspor side who have lost only one home league game this season.
