David Beckham has insisted that the next club he plays for will be chosen for football-related reasons as opposed to a "brand move".
The Los Angeles Galaxy star has been linked with moves to England as well as Paris as he nears the end of his contract in Major League Soccer.
"Many people say I go to places as a brand move but I don't," said Beckham. "I go because I want to be successful as a football player."
The former Manchester United midfielder has a chance of winning silverware with the American side as they gear up for the MLS final against Houston Dynamo on November 20.
"Professionally I want to be successful and whether it's winning the Champions League, the Premier League or the Primera Division, picking up silverware means the same thing," he added.
The 36-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to French side Paris Saint-Germain.
