Lazio coach Vladimir Petkovic has said that he remains confident of keeping his job despite last night's goalless draw with Apollon Limassol increasing the pressure.
Reports in the week suggested that the Swiss national had resigned from his post following a sluggish start to the season, although those claims were swiftly dismissed.
"Am I optimistic about my situation? Certainly," the 50-year-old told Sky Sport Italia. "The team is playing well and with a goal everything will suddenly become easier."
Speaking of last night's meeting with Apollon Limassol, he said: "We lacked that little bit of luck, even in certain ricochets. We need to believe more, be calm and continue working.
"We believe in qualification, because we have earned two away draws and a home victory. A win over Apollon would've basically closed the group, but we didn't manage it."
The Biancocelesti are second in Group J, two points behind leaders Trabzonspor.
