Goals from Hernanes and Stefano Mauri earned Lazio a narrow Rome Derby victory over 10-man Roma.
Lazio made the perfect start to the game, when on seven minutes, Roma keeper Maarten Stekelenburg brought down Miroslay Klose in the area.
The Dutchman was shown a straight red card and Hernanes scored from the resultant spot-kick.
Despite their numerical disadvantage, Roma levelled the scored six minutes later as Fabio Borini poked home a rebound after Juan had struck the crossbar.
Roma defended excellently but on 62 minutes, their backline was breached. Cristian Ledesma's floated free kick evaded the everyone except Mauri, who stretched out his left leg and diverted the ball past substitute stopper Bogdan Lobont.
Despite both sides calling the Stadio Olimpico home, the win is Lazio's first Rome derby victory as the designated away side since 1997.
