Marco Djuricin's debut strike has given Brentford a 1-0 half-time lead against Leeds United at Elland Road.
The former Red Bull Salzburg forward coolly finished off a slick counter-attack after midfielder Alan Judge broke free on the half-hour mark.
The Bees had almost opened the scoring after only two minutes, only for Konstantin Kershbaumer's shot to be cleared off the line by right-back Gaetano Berardi.
Whites captain Sol Bamba nearly gifted Djuricin an earlier goal with a sloppy back pass, but was bailed out of trouble by his centre-back partner Liam Cooper, who managed to get back and dispossess the striker.
The home side have been forced to shoot from distance having failed to find that cutting edge in the final third so far.
