Leeds United boss Neil Warnock has claimed that the club's two new loan signings made the difference in his side's 2-1 win over Crystal Palace.
Goals from Luciano Becchio and Paul Green ended a run of seven games without a win for Leeds, and Warnock believes that Alan Tate and Jerome Thomas's arrivals were instrumental in lifting the confidence of the whole side.
Warnock was also quick to dedicate the victory to the club's new owners, who completed the takeover earlier this week.
"I am absolutely delighted for the new owners. We deserved the win over the 90 minutes," he said.
"We started the game very well and had to hang in there at times but our two new lads made the difference. Alan Tate is a good pro. He had a calming influence on us at the back and Jerome Thomas is as good as anyone in the Premier League, let alone the Championship.
"We needed the lift in confidence those two have given us."
The result lifts Leeds up to 16th in the Championship table.
