Dundee will look to push themselves away from the Scottish Premiership relegation zone when they make the trip to face Livingston on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the hosts have the potential to climb into the top four with three points at the weekend, but a defeat would see the Dark Blues overtake them.
Match preview
Livingston suffered a 3-1 defeat on their return to action following the international break, with Sean Kelly's penalty not being enough to gain them any points against Kilmarnock.
That continued the run of mixed results that the Lions have been producing this season, currently having two wins, four draws, and three defeats to their name.
Consistency is something that David Martindale will now be searching for in a bid to try and guide his team further up the division, and considering they are level on points with the two teams directly above them, there is certainly room for progression.
Livingston have struggled for goals in home matches this season, managing to find the back of the net just three times in four games, which is something the Lions will look to change this weekend.
Martindale's men did pick up all three points the last time they played at Almondvale Stadium, though, and that is something that should provide some confidence to the team.
The visitors will also enter this game with some belief, despite their current league position, as they are undefeated in their previous three matches.
However, all of them were draws, and considering it is only goal difference keeping them out of a relegation spot the pressure is on to start turning those into victories.
No team has drawn more games than Tony Docherty's men this season in the Scottish Premiership, and that has been a driving factor in keeping the club lower down the division.
Dundee did keep clean sheets in their previous two outings, and that strong defensive performance could be helpful against a team struggling for goals at home.
However, the Dark Blues are yet to win a single match on the road this season, and that is something that the team desperately needs to change.
Team News
Kelly will continue to be a danger man for Livingston from the back, pushing on to cause problems in a bid to add to his three goals this season.
Aphelele Teto remains unavailable for the Lions as he waits for a work permit, which should take place in January, meanwhile with no injury issues there are plenty of options for Martindale.
Lyall Cameron missed out last weekend for Dundee due to injury, and that could see Fin Robertson retain his place in the starting XI this time out.
Cameron Kerr dropped to the bench for the recent draw against Ross County, with Jordan McGhee chosen ahead of him.
Livingston possible starting lineup:
George; De Lucas, Obileye, Kelly; McKay, Holt, S. Kelly, Penrice, Pittman, Nouble; Anderson
Dundee possible starting lineup:
Carson; Kerr, Portales, Shaughnessy, Lamie, Beck; Robertson, Boateng, McCowan; Rudden, Bakayoko
We say: Livingston 0-1 Dundee
Dundee have been putting together a strong run of form as of late, and their defensive improvements is something that could prove to be crucial in this match.
Livingston have had mixed results overall this season, and that is why the visitors might just edge this one.
