This week the summer transfer window will officially be opened for business.

As a result, speculation has hotted up as to which players will be plying their trade in England next term. Here, Sports Mole has rounded up the latest rumours which concern each of the Premier League's 20 clubs.

Arsenal

There is still no new arrivals at the Emirates Stadium, but rumours are starting to get stronger. The link with former Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli will not go away, although the AC Milan player's agent has claimed that no discussions have been held.

Meanwhile, Barcelona winger Alexis Sanchez is said to be open to the prospect of joining the North Londoners, with Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin also thought to be a target. In terms of outgoings, midfielder Mikel Arteta is reportedly being courted by Athletic Bilbao.

Aston Villa

Fans of Villa may want to avert their eyes for a moment. A report on Sunday has claimed that owner Randy Lerner has handed manager Paul Lambert a transfer kitty of just £10m.

Consequently, Lambert has been priced out of moves for Joleon Lescott and Javier Hernandez, which has resulted in the Scot having to reassess his transfer targets. Among those thought to be under consideration are Latina's Jefferson and Almeria playmaker Aleix Vidal.

Burnley

It had been quiet on the transfer front at Turf Moor until a bid was launched for Derby County midfielder Craig Bryson. However, the offer was "immediately rejected" by the Championship club, who are now trying to tie the 27-year-old down to a new contract.

There could be further negative news in the future days in the form of last season's leading goalscorer Danny Ings. Speculation has claimed that the Saints have identified the striker as a replacement for Rickie Lambert.

Chelsea

With Cesc Fabregas already over the line and Diego Costa expected to join him shortly, Jose Mourinho is probably pleased with his work in the transfer market thus far. Even so, that will reportedly not stop him from launching a hefty £60m bid for Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba in the near future.

Borussia Dortmund's speedy striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is also a reported target, while the agent of Romelu Lukaku has claimed that Chelsea have no plans to loan out his client.

Crystal Palace

Having admitted that Palace made mistakes in the transfer market last summer, co-chairman Steve Parish is likely to be more careful with his cash this time around. One player that is said to be of interest to the club, though, is Reims winger Floyd Ayite.

Michu and Joel Campbell are also believed to be targets of Tony Pulis, while Bolton Wanderers are believed to be keen to secure the services of Jonathan Parr, who was released by Palace last month.

Everton

The big news for Everton over the last few days was that the club had convinced Seamus Coleman to sign a new five-year contract at Goodison Park, which has ended speculation that the right-back could be heading for pastures new this summer.

The Republic of Ireland international could soon be joined on Merseyside by free agent Gareth Barry and Celtic's Greece international Georgios Samaras, but Romelu Lukaku is unlikely to return following his loan spell.

Hull City

Jake Livermore's signature has now been secured and the midfielder could be joined at the KC Stadium shortly by his former Tottenham Hotspur teammate Michael Dawson. A report has suggested that the centre-back has been informed by Spurs that he can leave the club.

There could also be an influx of wingers, with Steve Bruce said to retain a strong interest in both Norwich City's Robert Snodgrass and free agent Tom Ince.

Leicester City

It seems highly likely that both David Nugent and Wes Morgan will remain with Leicester next term following reports that the pair had signed new deals, having helped the club to gain promotion last season.

Striker Nugent in particular could face competition for his place in the starting lineup from Leonardo Ulloa, who is said to be prepared to tell Brighton & Hove Albion that he wants to leave the Championship club.

Liverpool

There can only be one place to start where Liverpool are concerned - Luis Suarez. You'd have to have been living under a rock over recent days to know that Uruguayan's future at Anfield is in doubt following his World Cup bite and subsequent ban. Among those that are thought to be interested in signing the striker are Barcelona, with an £80m fee mooted.

If Suarez were to depart, he could be replaced by Belgium's young centre-forward Divock Origi. Another player that could be bound for Merseyside is Southampton's Adam Lallana after a source told Sports Mole that the deal should be concluded today.

Manchester City

With Bacary Sagna signed on a free transfer from Arsenal, City made their second addition of the summer last week. Arriving at the Etihad Stadium from Portuguese side Porto was midfielder Fernando for £12m, which is likely to spell the end of Jack Rodwell's time at the club.

There could be a third signing over the coming days in the form of Racing Club de Avellaneda's Bruno Zuculini, who is due to have a medical.

Manchester United

There was a collective sigh of relief from United supporters last week as the club finally got out the cheque book. In the space of two days, both Ander Herrera and Luke Shaw were recruited from Athletic Bilbao and Southampton respectively.

It's likely that it will not be the end of Louis van Gaal's business either, with a whole hosts of names, including Nigel de Jong, William Carvalho, Daryl Janmaat, Stefan de Vrij and Nicolas Gaitan all linked with moves to Old Trafford. One player that will not be at the club, though, is Alexander Buttner, who has joined Dynamo Moscow in Russia.

Newcastle United

Alan Pardew's squad is a relatively thin one right now and it could become even more sparse, with Arsenal said to be eager to sign French international full-back Mathieu Debuchy, who is thought to be keen to leave the club.

The Magpies are also likely to lose out to the Gunners were Loic Remy is concerned. The French striker was on loan at St James' Park last season from Queens Park Rangers, but it seems likely that he will now join Arsenal permanently.

Queens Park Rangers

Harry Redknapp has been uncharacteristically quiet in the transfer market of late, but that could all be about to change. Reports have claimed that former Man United and England centre-back Rio Ferdinand has agreed a contract - likely to be for 12 months - at Loftus Road.

If Ferdinand were to sign on, he could partner Clint Hill at the heart of the QPR defence after the experienced defender agreed a one-year contract extension on Wednesday.

Southampton

While Southampton's bank balance is looking rather positive at present, they are running out of key players. Luke Shaw has sealed a switch to Man United, while Adam Lallana is expected to join Rickie Lambert at Liverpool within the next 24 hours.

These departing players will need replacing, though, and rumour has it that new manager Ronald Koeman has been promised the funds to make the necessary signings. Among those thought to be under consideration are Feyenoord pair Graziano Pelle and Lex Immer.

Stoke City

One of Stoke's key players last season was goalkeeper Asmir Begovic, who has been linked with a move to European champions Real Madrid. However, the Bosnian international has responded to that speculation by insisting that there are no plans in place for him to leave the Britannia Stadium.

Someone that could depart Stoke, though, is defender Ryan Shotton, with a handful of Premier League and Championship teams said to be monitoring the 25-year-old's situation.

Sunderland

In the wake of Costel Pantilimon's arrival, it had been expected that goalkeeper Vito Mannone would depart the Stadium of Light. However, late last week it was confirmed that the Italian had signed a new contract and will battle it out for the gloves with Pantilimon.

Sunderland could also make an improved bid for Swansea City skipper Ashley Williams, but Greece international Panagiotis Kone is not thought to be a target of Gus Poyet.

Swansea City

With Williams being courted by Sunderland, Swansea could also lose another defender in Ben Davies. It's been claimed that Spurs are eager to recruit the Welsh international, with an offer of £8m said to be in the offing.

There is some positive news for those of a Swansea persuasion, though, with former France international centre-forward Bafetimbi Gomis having signed a four-year contract following his release by Lyon.

Tottenham Hotspur

Aside from Davies, Spurs are said to be looking into the possibility of signing Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Marcelo Brozovic, as well as Colombia winger James Rodriguez, who has lit up the World Cup in Brazil.

There could also be a battle with Arsenal coming up for the services of QPR striker Loic Remy. A report has claimed that Tottenham are about to launch an £8m offer for the Frenchman.

West Bromwich Albion

It would seem that new West Brom boss Alan Irvine has no intention of wasting time in the transfer market, with a large number of players linked with moves to The Hawthorns. Emmanuel Riviere, Floyd Ayite, Martin Olsson, Marco Amelia and Aaron Cresswell are all thought to be under consideration by Irvine.

It also appears that Irvine is determined to retain the services of defender Craig Dawson, who has reportedly had a transfer request rejected by the Black Country-based club.

West Ham United

Emanuel Insua, brother of former Liverpool full-back Emiliano, is reportedly of interest Sam Allardyce, who is looking to bolster his defence with the Argentine.

As well as a left-back, Allardyce has also revealed the other positions which he is keen to strengthen, including centre-back and the centre of midfield.
