Basement side Forest Green Rovers will look to end their 11-game winless league run when they travel to the One Call Stadium for Tuesday's League Two clash with Mansfield Town.
Meanwhile, promotion-chasing Mansfield will attempt to return to winning ways after taking a point from their last two matches.
Match preview
After Mansfield's six-game unbeaten run came to an end with a 1-0 defeat to Crewe Alexandra, the Stags missed the chance to bounce back with a victory in Saturday's clash with Morecambe.
Baily Cargill opened the scoring just after the hour mark, but Mansfield were unable to hold onto their narrow lead, as Morecambe's Charlie Brown netted a 78th-minute equaliser to ensure that the contest finished all square.
As result of Wrexham's win over AFC Wimbledon, the Stags dropped down to the third and final automatic promotion spot with a slender one-point advantage over fourth-placed Barrow.
While they may be looking over their shoulder, Nigel Clough's side can move back into second position and to within one point of leaders Stockport County if they claim maximum points in Tuesday's contest.
Having failed to win their previous three head-to-head meetings, the Stags will look to beat Forest Green for the first time since November 2020.
Although Mansfield are targeting promotion, Forest Green are in a battle to retain their EFL Cup status with seven points separating them from safety.
After playing out consecutive draws with Wimbledon and Salford, Forest Green went on to lose 2-0 in Saturday's home clash with Harrogate Town.
Their performance drew fierce criticism from manager Troy Deeney, who has seen his six games in charge produce three draws and three defeats.
Following the disappointment of their 16th defeat of the League Two season, Rovers will now turn their attention to Tuesday's trip to the One Call Stadium, where they will attempt to record their first league win since claiming a 2-1 win over Crawley Town on October 28.
While they are keen to pick up all three points, Forest Green may take a draw, having lost seven of their previous nine away league games (D2).
Team News
Mansfield are unable to call upon the services of defender Callum Johnson and forward Rhys Oates due to hamstring and knee injuries respectively.
Left-back Stephen McLaughlin is in line for a recall after he was introduced as a half-time substitute against Morecambe.
David Keillor-Dunn will be looking to continue his fine form in the final third, having scored 14 goals in 26 league appearances this season.
As for the visitors, they are expected to be without the injured trio of Jacob Maddox, Nathan Holland and Jordon Garrick.
Ryan Inniss will be available following suspension, but Alex Gorrin will serve a one-match ban after being shown a red card on his debut.
Mathew Stevens is expected to retain his place up front after scoring three goals in Forest Green's last five matches.
Mansfield Town possible starting lineup:
Pym; Bowery, Flint, Cargill, McLaughlin; Brunt, Reed, Clarke, Maris; Keillor-Dunn, Akins
Forest Green Rovers possible starting lineup:

We say: Mansfield Town 2-1 Forest Green Rovers
Mansfield may have failed to win any of their last three games against Forest Green, but we think that they will end that run when they face a side that have lost seven of their last nine away league matches.
