Sheffield Wednesday have completed the signing of Jordan Rhodes from Middlesbrough for a fee of around £10m.
The 26-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from the Riverside Stadium this month, with Aston Villa also credited with an interest in the striker.
However, Sky Sports News reports that the Owls have beaten their Championship rivals to the punch and signed the Scotland international.
The deal will be a club-record signing for Wednesday, almost doubling the previous mark set when Adam Reach also joined from Middlesbrough last summer.
Rhodes has made just two Premier League starts for Boro so far this season, but has thrived in the Championship in the past, scoring 88 goals in the second tier since 2012.
