Norwich City midfielder Robert Snodgrass has admitted that he hopes to be the hero who keeps the club in the Premier League this season.
The Canaries, who relieved Chris Hughton of his duties earlier this week, face Fulham at Craven Cottage on Saturday, and Snodgrass insists that the importance of the game is clear to the squad.
"It will be a time for heroes and I want to be the man who scores the winner and keeps Norwich in the Premier League," the Scot told reporters.
"A lot of us know that if Norwich do go down we might never play in the Premier League again."
Norwich are currently five points clear of Fulham, who are 18th in the table.
