Alessandro Matri scored a stoppage-time winner as 10-man Genoa claimed a 2-1 victory against Parma in Serie A this afternoon.
Massimo Coda threatened early on for the hosts, but his low strike from just outside the box was fired straight at Mattia Perin.
Edenilson blazed over the bar for Genoa and Jose Mauri curled a shot just wide of the post for Parma as the first half finished goalless.
Eight minutes after the break it was the visitors who made the breakthrough, as Diego Perotti drove into the box, before firing in a strike that beat Antonio Mirante at his near post.
Genoa found themselves down to 10 men just two minutes later as Facundo Roncaglia picked up his second yellow card of the afternoon.
Despite their numerical advantage they almost doubled their lead on the hour mark, but Perotti saw his close-range header saved by Mirante.
Parma then levelled the scores in the 66th minute through Coda, who was picked out by Massimo Gobbi inside the six-yard box and chested the ball into the net.
In the third minute of stoppage time Genoa stole all three points as Matri ran through to slot home Tomas Rincon's pass and leave no way back for the home side.
