Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Major League Soccer fixtures, including Inter Miami vs. New York City FC.

Philadelphia vs. Minnesota Utd (Saturday, 6.00pm)

Off the back of a first victory of the season last time out, Philadelphia Union welcome Minnesota United to Subaru Park on Saturday evening.

On the other hand, the visitors make the trip to Chester this weekend aiming to continue their near-perfect start to the current campaign so far.

We say: Philadelphia Union 1-1 Minnesota United

Both teams have had little problem finding the back of the net of late, so we expect an open and exciting contest here. We can also see the sides cancelling each other out to settle for a point apiece in the end.

Colorado vs. Los Angeles (Saturday, 8.00pm)

Off the back of contrasting results last time out, Colorado Rapids and Los Angeles FC will do battle at Dick's Sporting Goods Park on Saturday.

The hosts saw their three-game unbeaten streak come to an end, while the visitors snapped a three-game winless run with a resounding triumph.

We say: Colorado Rapids 1-2 Los Angeles FC

Both teams have blown and cold this term, and Saturday's encounter could easily head either way. That said, we just about fancy the away side to emerge triumphant in the end.

Charlotte FC vs. Cincinnati (Saturday, 11.30pm)

FC Cincinnati will head to North Carolina to take on Charlotte FC at Bank of America Stadium on March 31 in gameweek six of the MLS regular season.

The hosts are currently in seventh place in the Eastern Conference with seven points to date, while the visitors are leading the Conference standings with 11 points after five games.

We say: Charlotte FC 1-2 FC Cincinnati

While Charlotte claimed an important win last week, it was a far from convincing performance. Cincinnati have picked up from where they left off last season, and we feel they will maintain their 100% away record with another win in this match.

DC United vs. Montreal (Saturday, 11.30pm)

DC United can end a four-match winless run when they welcome CF Montreal to Audi Field in MLS action on Saturday in the US capital.

The Black and Red settled for a 2-2 draw with St Louis City last Saturday, while Le CFM had a week off following their dramatic 4-3 defeat to the Chicago Fire.

We say: DC United 2-2 CF Montreal

Both sides have capitalised on a number of their scoring opportunities, and with the quality and form they each have in the attacking third, we expect to see the back of the net bulge a few times this weekend.

Inter Miami vs. NY City (Saturday, 11.30pm)

In search of their first away victory of the 2024 MLS campaign, New York City FC travel to Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale for a date with Inter Miami on Saturday.

In their previous encounter, the Herons were thumped 4-0 by the New York Red Bulls, while the Boys in Blue suffered a 1-0 defeat to FC Cincinnati.

We say: Inter Miami 1-0 New York City FC

We do not believe the Pigeons have played as poorly as their record may indicate, but they still seem to be missing that killer instinct that can put them over the top.

Even if Messi does not play, we believe the other veteran leaders on Inter Miami will be able to pick them up and forget about what happened last week.

Orlando City vs. NY Red Bulls (Saturday, 11.30pm)

Orlando City will go head-to-head with the New York Red Bulls in gamweek six of the MLS regular season at the Inter&Co Stadium in Florida on Sunday morning.

The hosts are on four points after five games and moved up to 13th place in the Eastern Conference last week, while the visitors are now in third place with 10 points over the same period.

We say: Orlando City 2-2 New York Red Bulls

Orlando City have made a very slow start to the campaign, and while they did secure their first win last week, they still look some way from the best and are likely to be tested to the limit here by a Red Bulls side that just claimed their biggest win of the early season agaisnt Inter Miami.

The hosts are the marginal favourites in this contest, but we feel that this one will end level at the final whistle.

Toronto vs. Kansas (Saturday, 11.30pm)

For the first time since 2019, Toronto and Sporting Kansas City will meet in Major League Soccer action on Saturday at BMO Field.

The Reds are coming off an impressive 2-0 victory over Atlanta United last weekend, while KC suffered their first defeat of the domestic campaign, 3-2 at home to the Los Angeles Galaxy.

We say: Toronto 1-0 Sporting Kansas City

Toronto have a new energy this year, and we believe their newfound confidence and solid defensive structure should enable them to frustrate SKC and eventually sneak a goal in to earn a rare victory against them.

Austin vs. Dallas (Sunday, 12.30am)

Two of Major League Soccer's Texan outfits will do battle at the Q2 Stadium on Sunday, as Austin FC entertain Dallas.

Both sides find themselves at the bottom end of the Western Conference Standings at this early stage of the season and will bid to kickstart their campaigns with a win.

We say: Austin FC 1-1 Dallas

With both teams left disappointed by their slow starts to the campaign and desperate for a win over Texan rivals, we anticipate a tight encounter in Austin on Sunday and cannot quite pick a winner, instead seeing a share of the points as the most likely outcome.

Houston vs. Earthquakes (Sunday, 12.30am)

Houston Dynamo will attempt to claim a third consecutive victory when they welcome San Jose Earthquakes to the Shell Energy Stadium on Saturday.

San Jose, meanwhile, will be hoping to clinch another positive result after recording their first victory of the MLS season last weekend.

We say: Houston Dynamo 2-1 San Jose Earthquakes

While San Jose would have taken confidence from their win over Seattle, they have lost both of their opening two away games by a 2-1 scoreline.

We think they could fall to another away defeat against a Houston side that are slowly building momentum following back-to-back victories.

Nashville vs. Columbus Crew (Sunday, 12.30am)

The Major League Soccer returns with a fresh of fixtures as Nashville SC and Columbus Crew go head to head at Geodis Park on Sunday morning.

Having suffered their first league defeat of the season last time out, both sides will head into the weekend looking to bounce back and return to winning ways.

We say: Nashville SC 1-1 Columbus Crew

Both licking their wounds from last week's defeat, Nashville and Columbus Crew will head into Sunday's clash in search of a morale-boosting result. That said, we predict both sides will cancel out each other's efforts and settle for a share of the spoils.

Salt Lake vs. St Louis City (Sunday, 2.30am)

Real Salt Lake host St Louis City at the Rio Tinto Stadium on Sunday in the second meeting between these two sides in the MLS already this season.

The hosts have picked up two wins, two losses and a draw from their opening games, while the visitors will be looking to make it six unbeaten in the league at the start of this campaign.

We say: Real Salt Lake 1-2 St Louis City

St Louis City have a knack for scoring goals and, combined with Salt Lake's rather poor defensive record in recent seasons, we believe the visitors will end their drawing streak and take a victory in this one.

Vancouver vs. Portland (Sunday, 3.30am)

In the first Cascadia Cup clash of the 2024 MLS season, the Vancouver Whitecaps will host the Portland Timbers on Saturday at BC Place Stadium.

The Caps suffered their first defeat of the domestic campaign last weekend, losing 2-1 to Real Salt Lake, while Portland were beaten 3-1 by the Philadelphia Union.

We say: Vancouver Whitecaps 2-1 Portland Timbers

Both sides are coming off difficult matches last week, but with Cubas likely to be back in the Caps midfield, we expect them to do a better job of slowing down the Timbers in transition, which should enable them to create more chances when in possession.

LA Galaxy vs. Seattle (Sunday, 3.30am)

Unbeaten in their five Major League Soccer matches so far, Los Angeles entertain the challenge of Seattle Sounders at Dignity Health Sports Park on Sunday.

On the other hand, the away side head into this weekend's encounter aiming to pick up a first win and get their season up and running at the fifth time of asking.

We say: Los Angeles Galaxy 2-0 Seattle Sounders

Los Angeles Galaxy have made a fine start to the season, but their home form offers some encouragement to Seattle Sounders. Nonetheless, we are backing the hosts to secure maximum points at the end of the 90 minutes.
