Plymouth Argyle manager John Sheridan has hailed his side's performance against promotion-chasing Oxford United away from home in League Two.
The Pilgrims got the better of their opponents 3-2 at the Kassam Stadium on Thursday, thanks to a brace from Reuben Reid.
"I thought the second half was very exciting to watch," Sky Sports News quotes him as saying. "To score three goals against a team that is flying at the moment can only give us confidence.
"Obviously the forwards Reuben and Caolan [Lavery] will take the plaudits for the goals, but it was a really excellent team performance."
"The result wasn't a shock to me because I know how well we have been playing," he added. "I thought we played really well and thoroughly deserved it."
Plymouth are currently 13th in the league table, while Oxford are second.
