Striker Daryl Murphy will miss Ipswich Town's match at Preston North End this afternoon after failing a late fitness test.
The 32-year-old, Ipswich's top goalscorer last season, was taken off in the 2-0 victory over Burnley in midweek.
David McGoldrick, who scored the second goal after coming on as a substitute, is given a start in Murphy's absence.
Ryan Fraser was also given a late test but has been deemed fit enough to start.
Meanwhile, Preston manager Simon Grayson welcomes back playoff hero Jermaine Beckford, who is among the replacements.
Beckford has yet to make an appearance this season after picking up a knock in pre-season.
Jordan Hugill misses out through suspension after being sent off against MK Dons.
