Neither Queens Park Rangers nor Watford was able to find the net during the opening 45 minutes of their Championship fixture at Loftus Road this afternoon.
The early chances fell to Watford and namely their striker Troy Deeney, but on both occasions he failed to hit the target with presentable opportunities.
Meanwhile, up the other end, QPR's best opening was presented to full-back Danny Simpson, but he shot straight at visiting goalkeeper Manuel Almunia.
The Hornets are currently five points adrift of the playoff places and realistically need to claim all three points to force their way into the top six.
