Queens Park Rangers midfielder Alejandro Faurlin has revealed that recent comments from manager Harry Redknapp have motivated him "more than ever" to make a return from a serious knee injury.
Redknapp recently suggested that Faurlin might not make a full recovery from his second cruciate ligament injury in two years, but the Argentine has insisted that he still has plenty of years ahead of him as a professional footballer.
The 27-year-old tweeted: "This make me feel even more determined and motivated than ever!!
"I will be back, I do still have plenty of years to play my football!! My rehab, it's been perfectly on course."
Faurlin has made 131 appearances for QPR since joining the club in 2009.
