Real Madrid play host to Club Brugge in the Champions League on Tuesday night aware that they need to record a positive result at the Bernabeu.
Zinedine Zidane watched his team succumb to a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain on matchday one, leaving Los Blancos with work to do in order to qualify from Group A.
However, the Spanish giants currently lead the way in La Liga having recorded four wins and three draws from their opening seven matches.
Here, Sports Mole rounds up Real Madrid's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the clash with Belgian opposition.
Marco Asensio
Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown
Asensio is unlikely to be back in contention until the spring as a result of suffering a serious knee injury in a pre-season outing against Arsenal earlier in the summer.
Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: October 1 (vs. Club Brugge)
The 27-year-old has been absent from Real's last half-a-dozen fixtures in all competitions. The playmaker has a small chance of making the substitutes' bench for this match, although Zidane is likely to keep him on the sidelines until the weekend.
Status: Slight doubt
Type of injury: Neck
Possible return date: October 1 (vs. Club Brugge)
Marcelo had been contention to return from a neck injury against Atletico Madrid at the weekend, only for the left-back to not feature in Zidane's 18-man squad. The Brazilian should be in a position to play on Tuesday or against Granada on Saturday.
Status: Out
Type of injury: Groin
Possible return date: October 5 (vs. Granada)
Real have a further problem at left-back with Mendy currently suffering from a groin injury. The summer arrival will not be back in contention until the weekend at the earliest.
REAL MADRID'S SUSPENSION LIST
With Sergio Ramos and Nacho having served their respective European bans, Zidane has no suspension issues heading into this fixture.
