Next up for Real Madrid in their quest to win a third La Liga title in nine seasons is a meeting with Celta Vigo at the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday.
Zinedine Zidane's men have won five league games in a row and are unbeaten in 14 since mid-October, seeing them open up a three-point lead on bitter rivals Barcelona.
Madrid's most recent win came away at Osasuna and, having crashed out of the Copa del Rey last week, they have seven days' rest before hosting Celta.
Here, Sports Mole rounds up Los Blancos' latest injury and suspension news ahead of the clash in the Spanish capital.
Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown
Marco Asensio remains on the sidelines with the serious knee injury that he picked up during Madrid's preparations for the 2019-20 campaign. The Spaniard is making positive progress in his recovery, though, and could potentially return to action towards the end of March.
Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: February 16 (vs. Celta Vigo)
Eden Hazard has been on the sidelines since the end of November due to a fractured ankle. The 29-year-old, who joined in a big-money deal from Chelsea last summer, has recently stepped up his recovery in training, though, and could potentially be involved in Sunday's clash.
James Rodriguez
Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Hip
Possible return date: February 16 (vs. Celta Vigo)
James Rodriguez missed the comeback win at Osasuna with a hip injury, having only recently recovered from a troublesome knee problem. The Colombia international, who has been used as a squad player this term, is unlikely to spend any serious length of time on the sidelines.
Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Knock
Possible return date: February 16 (vs. Celta Vigo)
Mariano Diaz was also left out of Madrid's squad last weekend, but the knock he is carrying is not thought to be anything serious.
