Roma coach Rudi Garcia has admitted that he was pleased with the performance of his midfield during their 3-1 win over the MLS All-Stars in a pre-season friendly.
Roma's goals came from Alessandro Florenzi, Marquinhos and new signing Kevin Strootman, which left Garcia in no doubt where his strongest area was.
"This department is the heart of my game, my team," Garcia told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"I'm very happy with all my midfielders, not only of Strootman or Michael Bradley, but also Miralem Pjanic, Florenzi, Daniele De Rossi and Marquinho. Their performances mean that we are working well."
The All-Stars' goal came late on from Omar Gonzalez.
