Roma boss Rudi Garcia has refused to admit that his side are favourites to claim the Scudetto despite their victory over Fiorentina.
The Rome club came out on top in Serie A thanks to goals from Mohamed Salah and Gervinho, but Garcia has since stated that claiming three points does not necessarily make his team the frontrunners despite their new position at the top of the standings.
"Roma are definitely not favourites," Garcia told Sky Sport Italia.
"Until recently, we have been very poor. Now people say we are favourites because we sit first. We need our fans at the Stadio Olimpico as we cannot do this without them."
Roma have claimed six wins out of nine games so far this season.
