Harry Kane has hailed the resilience of his Tottenham Hotspur teammates after surviving a scare to beat Sheffield United and set up a League Cup final with Chelsea.
Christian Eriksen, who had earlier opened the scoring, struck on 88 minutes as Spurs spared themselves the anguish of extra time with a 3-2 aggregate win at Bramall Lane.
The match ended 2-2 on the night, with a second-half brace from Che Adams levelling up the tie, and Kane is proud of the way in which his teammates booked their place at Wembley.
"It means the world," he told Sky Sports News at full time.
"We were in cruise control and that was the worst thing we could have done. Credit to Sheffield United but it shows how much character we have."
Both London sides square off in the final on March 1.
