Stoke City midfielder Charlie Adam feels that his side need "luck" if they are to survive in the Premier League.
The Potters have lost their last three league games which has seen them slip to 16th in the table and they now face a tricky trip to fellow strugglers Queens Park Rangers on Saturday.
"If we can win a couple of games, then hopefully that will be good enough," he told The Sentinel.
"We need to start next week and hopefully pick up three points. The confidence is there but I think we need a little bit of luck.
"It is going to be an edgy match, but hopefully we can go there and stifle them, get on top of them and get a victory."
The 27-year-old has made 24 appearances for Stoke this season following his move from Liverpool.
