Sunderland and Swansea City have reportedly joined the race to sign Lyon striker Bafetimbi Gomis.
The Frenchman, who is a free agent this summer, is said to be attracting the interest of Newcastle United and West Ham United, but the Black Cats and the Swans are now both weighing up a move.
According to the Daily Mail, the four clubs will battle it out for the signature of the forward, with Sunderland looking to replace Fabio Borini who has returned to Liverpool following his loan spell.
However, a recent report has claimed that Gomis is asking for around £100,000 a week.
