Sports Mole provides updates of all the transfer news as it happens throughout the day.

Welcome to Sports Mole's live transfer blog on Friday, July 31.

Plenty of activity has dominated the summer window so far, but with around five weeks remaining, there is still time for football clubs home and abroad to complete their business.

Throughout the day, we will bring you all the latest developments as they happen.

Good morning all! The transfer speculation keeps on coming, but we will get any completed deals today? Angel di Maria is reportedly on the verge of signing for Paris Saint-Germain - will that deal get over the line by the end of the week? Will Manchester United sign a new forward, possible Pedro from Barcelona? And what is happening with Everton defender John Stones - will Chelsea finally get their man? If not today, expect all those questions to be answered by September 2.
As I've already mentioned, Pedro is being heavily linked with a switch to Old Trafford from the Camp Nou. However, according to The Express, Barcelona plan to delay the move until after their Super Cup tie against Sevilla on August 11. This would mean that Pedro would not be in place for United's opening Premier League game against Tottenham Hotspur on August 8.

Let's hop over the water to Spain and get the latest on Alvaro Negredo's future at Valencia. The striker is rumoured to have been put up for sale by Los Che, just four weeks after signing a permanent deal from Manchester City. However, the player himself has rejected the reports and insists that he wants to stay at the Mestalla. Find out what Negredo had to say on the rumours here.
Is this a sign that Mario Balotelli could be on his way out of Liverpool? ESPN reports that the Italian striker has been left out of the squad for this weekend's pre-season trip to Finland. Manager Brendan Rodgers has selected a strong squad for a friendly against Helsinki, but apparently there's no room for Mr 'Why Always Me?'.

DONE DEAL! Manchester City youngster Enes Unal has joined Belgian club Genk on a two-year loan deal.

In case you missed it overnight, Arsenal forward Joel Campbell appears to be closing in on a season-long loan move to Palermo. The Costa Rica international has made just 10 appearances for the Gunners since joining in 2011.
Bolton Wanderers have already brought in five new players this summer, but there could be two more arrivals in the coming days. A report claims that Stephen Dobbie and Lawrie Wilson are close to signing for the Championship club, while Emile Heskey could also be offered a new deal.
BREAKING NEWS! James Perch has swapped Wigan Athletic for Queens Park Rangers on a three-year deal. The versatile defender joins the West London outfit for an undisclosed fee. More on that developing story can be found here.
NEW DEALS! Good news for Arsenal fans as the club's current longest-serving player Theo Walcott has signed a new four-year contract at the Emirates, while teammate Santi Cazorla has also extended his stay at the Premier League club.

UPDATE: Rickie Lambert's move to West Bromwich Albion from Liverpool looks ever closer as the 33-year-old striker has reportedly undergone a medical today. The Liverpudlian joined his boyhood club from Southampton last summer for £4m, but failed to make his mark at Anfield.
Could Brentford defender Moses Odubajo be on his way to newly-demoted Championship side Hull City? According to The Independent, the Tigers have triggered a £3.5m release clause in Odubajo's contract.
Apparently Tim Sherwood is eager to add Joleon Lescott to his defence this season. A report from Sky Sports News claims that Aston Villa have made an approach for the former Manchester City player, but his current club West Bromwich Albion have rejected their rival's enquiry. Lescott has one year remaining on his contract at The Hawthorns.

Good news for Sheffield Wednesday fans as Tom Lees, who impressed in his debut season last year, signs a new contract at Hillsborough which runs until 2019.
DONE DEAL! Impressive coup for Barnsley, this, as they secure the half-season loan signing of Dan Crowley from Arsenal. Tykes head coach Lee Johnson believes that he is one of the best 17-year-olds in Europe.
The Pedro to Manchester United chatter is getting a little tiresome, but here's the latest as Barca president Josep Maria Bartomeu insists that there has been no bid for the forward.

Ipswich Town are in the market for a new left-back after Bournemouth spent big to poach Tyrone Mings from them this summer. It looks like they may have found their man as Jonas Knudsen is reportedly in the country for a medical ahead of a move from Danish top-flight side Esbjerg.
Newly-promoted Championship side MK Dons have made some interesting signings this summer and a little earlier they captured their second player from Real Madrid's 'Castilla' reserve team. Read more about the arrival of Sergio Aguza here.
DONE DEAL! Aston Villa have completed the signing of Nantes midfielder Jordan Veretout on a five-year deal. The transfer has been rumoured for days, but the 22-year-old has finally signed on the dotted line.
DONE DEAL! It's certainly exciting times if you are an Aston Villa supporter. Sherwood has added his second new signing in the space of an hour with the completion of a deal to take Blackburn Rovers striker Rudy Gestede to the West Midlands on a long-term contract.
DONE DEAL! We have another confirmed deal to bring you now, but sorry Villa fans, this one doesn't involve you. Manchester City have announced that striker Stevan Jovetic has moved to Inter Milan on an 18-month loan deal.
DONE DEAL! Southampton have handed a two-year contract extension to defender Jack Stephens, but that's not all. The 21-year-old has been loaned out to Middlesbrough for next season.
DONE DEAL! We've been treated to some deals this afternoon, haven't we?! Rickie Lambert is the next man to move clubs, leaving Liverpool to link up with West Bromwich Albion on a two-year contract. The fee is said to be in the region of £3m.
Villa fans - I bet you thought that your day was over, didn't you? Well, you're wrong. Defender Nathan Baker has penned a new four-year contract at the West Midlands club.
DONE DEAL! Real Madrid manager Rafael Benitez looks like he has started planning for the future with the signing of 19-year-old Jesus Vallejo from Real Zaragoza. The defender has signed a six-year contract at the Bernabeu.
DONE DEAL! Hull City have strengthened their Championship squad with the acquisition of Arsenal midfielder Isaac Hayden. The 20-year-old has moved to the Tigers on a season-long loan deal.
Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez was linked with West Ham United earlier in the summer, but their bid was rejected. However, it now appears that the Mexican is still a target for the London side, as they are thought to be considering an increased bid.
DONE DEAL! Ipswich Town have announced that Danish international Jonas Knudsen has penned a three-year deal with the Championships side. He moves to Portman Road from Esbjerg.
LOANS! A couple of youngsters from the Premier League have headed out on loan in search of first-team experience. Sunderland goalkeeper Jordan Pickford with spend the season with Preston North End in the Championship, while Man City midfielder Olivier Ntcham is joining Genoa on a two-year loan after penning a five-year extension at the Etihad.
Kenwyne Jones had a relatively fruitful season with Cardiff City last year, netting 14 goals in 42 appearances for the Bluebirds. However, it looks like he could be heading for the exit as he has been linked with a loan move to Sheffield Wednesday, and has been left out of the squad for tonight's friendly against Bournemouth amid the speculation.
Jose Mourinho admitted at his press conference ahead of this weekend's Community Shield match that he is still looking to sign a left-back. Well, it seems he may have his man as Chelsea have reportedly agreed a deal with Augsburg's Baba Rahman.
Arsenal striker Chuba Akpom revealed earlier this week that he wanted to feature for Arsenal's first team this season. However, Arsene Wenger appears to think that he would benefit from another loan spell, as he's being linked with a move to Hull City.
