Watford goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes has apologised for a mistake he made during the 2-1 loss to Leicester City on Saturday.
The 34-year-old allowed N'Golo Kante to open the scoring when the ball squirmed through his arms into the back of the net.
Gomes, who signed for Watford in 2014, tweeted his apologies to Watford fans.
Teammate Ikechi Anya lent his support to Gomes, describing him as the "heart of the team".
The result sees Watford slip to 11th in the Premier League table.
